With the current commemoration of the D-Day landings 80 years ago, it seems appropriate to raise awareness of a new online archive of personal memorabilia that was recorded in late 2023.   

Items were brought to schools, community centres and other venues, where their owners could explain their history and the items were photographed.  The information was collated by the University of Oxford with the help of funding from The Heritage Fund.
