Hobbies, Teas and Christmas Services

An exhibition of collections and hobbies was organised by enthusiasts in Chicheley Village Hall on 26th November.  There was the usual excellent selection of Chicheley cakes to enjoy.  £135 was raised to be split between donations to Northampton Air Ambulance and Chicheley Village Hall.

Tea and cakes were served in Chicheley Villaage Hall on Saturday 3rd December. In addition to the usual large number of supporters from Chicheley and neighbouring villages, a group of passing cyclists stopped to enjoy the legendary baking.

Social Evening, Saturday 10th December.  Villagers brought food to share and took on the challenge of playing carols on the hand bells.

Carol Service, Sunday 11th December.  There was a service of Carols and readings in St Lawrence Church at 15:00hrs, followed by refreshments appropriate to the time of year and colder weather.

Christmas Day Holy Communion, Sunday 25th December.  There was a traditional service in St Lawrence Church at 11:00hrs on Christmas morning.
