Burns’ Night was celebrated in Chicheley Village Hall on the evening of 23rd January, with the traditional selection of Scottish delicacies.

By popular demand, the filmed interview of Ted Duncombe’s memoirs as a bomber pilot in World War II will be shown in the Village Hall on Saturday 19th March.  

Good Friday Teas were served in the Village Hall on the afternoon of 25th March.

Lent lunch was held in Chicheley Village Hall with the usual less than frugal selection of food, and good company.

A Maundy Thursday service was held in St Lawrence Church on the evening of 24th March, and was well attended.

Perhaps for the first time in living memory, no Easter Sunday Service was held in Chicheley. There were, however, SCAN Parish services on Good Friday and Easter Sunday in Sherington and North Crawley.

The Annual General Meeting of SCAN Parochial Church Council was held in Chicheley Village Hall at 19:30hrs on Tuesday 26th April.
