Site Clearance Works on Tongwell Street

We will be carrying out Site Clearance works in relation to the Milton Keynes East infrastructure works over the coming weeks. Some of these works will be carried out adjacent to the road network, to carry these works out safely we will be introducing traffic management. The works on Tongwell Street are expected to last 6 weeks, during which time you can expect to see progressive lane closures on North & Southbound carriageways, which may also affect access to Carleton Gate from time to time.

Week commencing 20th February 2023

J14 East; Lane closure on the a509 London rd. leading up to Junction 14

Newport Road; Progressive lane closure on Northbound carriageway

Tongwell Street; Progressive lane closures on North & Southbound carriageways,

Week commencing 27th February 2023

Tongwell Street; Ongoing progressive lane closures on North & Southbound carriageways A509 North; Progressive lane closures on North & Southbound carriageways

Week commencing 6th March 2023

A509 North; Full weekend closure to facilitate the felling of trees adjacent the road
