Sadly, four much-loved members of the Chicheley Village Community died during the Coronavirus pandemic lockdowns, when normal funeral services were not permitted.

Saint Lawrence Church was filled on Sunday 3rd October 2021 for a Memorial Service to remember the lives of those we had lost during the pandemic:

Relatives gave a short eulogy before lighting a candle of remembrance and then singing the favourite hymns of those whose lives we were celebrating.

The Service was followed by refreshments and chance to reminisce in the Village Hall.
