Church Service and temporary disturbance of footpaths.

Chicheley is an active farming village and the Harvest remains a significantly important annual event. The good summer weather allowed the crops to be gathered safely, although perversly meant lower grain prices.

The annual Harvest Festival to celebrate the succesful gathering of the crops was held at 6pm on Sunday 12th October. This was followed by the sale of produce donated to decorate the church on Monday 13th.

Many Chicheley residents enjoy walking the extensive network of footpaths around the village. Our farmers maintain the paths and footbridges in excellent condition. Unfortunately it is necessary from time to time to plow up paths as part of the farming cycle, but the paths are always restored within the statutory period. Please be patient.
