Family and friends attended a Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Ted Duncombe at St Lawrence Church on 13th January.

Ted had spent his whole life in Chicheley, and was an innovative and successful farmer, as well as a very popular resident.  It is hard to imagine Chicheley without him.

Ted had learnt to fly before World War 2 and had become a Wellington bomber pilot.  He was shot down and became a prisoner of war.
