The funeral of “Kipper” Robertson, one of Chicheley’s oldest and long-term residents, was held in Saint Lawrence Church on 14th July. Covid-19 regulations restricted attendance to close family, but some of Kipper’s overseas relatives were able to attend.

Kipper led an exciting life, moving to southern Africa as a nurse after WW2 and coming to live in Chicheley in the 1980s with her late husband Robbie. They were perenially happy and well-liked members of the Chicheley community and will be missed.
