It is planned to hold a Cinema Evening at The Village Hall on the evening of Friday 21st February. Please put the date in your diary. Further details will be published as arrangements are finalised.

The plan is to show films by the Pioneers, a former local amateur dramatic group with members from Chicheley, Sherington and Newport Pagnell. Their films were very popular and are being brought back by popular demand. There will also be films of local history, which could include Newport Pagnell Carnival in 1961/62, Sherington floods in 1981, and Chicheley Village events in 1990.

There will most likely be a choice of Fish & Chips or Burgers provided by The Chester Arms.

This will be a FUN evening, so please come along and join in.

UPDATE!!!

The cinema evening was a great success and the village hall was full. Another cinema is planned for the autumn (Coronaviris permitting), and is likely to include videos of Chicheley events in 1990 such as the Nativity Play and the Summer Fete.
